I have enjoyed sports since I was in high school. As unwilling as I was as a 16-year-old, I stepped into the gym for the first time and hated it!! However, I quickly adjusted and started studying to be a personal trainer and taking up bodybuilding as an 18-year-old through to 24 years old where I became a professional athlete within my federation. I coached online and face-to-face in both nutrition and fitness for the last 8 years. That life soon became too much for me, constantly dieting and caring about what my body looked like, so I started exploring other avenues and getting right into powerlifting, I powerlifted for 18 months, and competed one time. While I was powerlifting I started getting into CrossFit 1-2 days a week. This quickly turned into a full-time membership at Chalk and not long after I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 and started coaching, I’ve never looked back and have loved my CrossFit journey exceptionally more than any other phase of my fitness journey over the last decade, the list of possible improvements through CrossFit is never ending and is the reason why I love it!
